Reading Road Allotments - Serious envionmental health issue.

I have just come from Tescos where the car park was thick with acrid toxic smoke from plastic being burnt on a bonfire in the Reading Road Allotments for half an hour at least whilst I was there.  The smoke is inside the store too and staff said many people have complained.  Non emergency Police said call Emergency Environmental Health S Oxon which I did but they do not cater for this scenario.  I should have taken a photo of the very plot which can be seen from the road.

Hello Tony. I arrived at Tescos at 6pm and immediately became aware of putrid smoke. A member of Tescos staff in the car park said the smoke was coming from the allotments. I left Tescos at 6.30pm and it was still bad, even permeating inside the store where staff said there had been many complaints. As I drove home to Shiplake past the gate to the allotments I could see a fire burning further up the path. Archive weather shows wind direction from WSW @ 6pm, so definitely from the allotments.
