New 40mph speed Limit on A4155

You have probably seen that the speed limit has changed from 30mph to 40mph on the stretch of the A4155 between Tower House and Mill Lane. This has been done on safety grounds as cars will now be slowed by large 30 limit signs as they approach Station Road when heading north, or Mill Lane when heading South. It will also mean that drivers unfamiliar with the area will be less likely to tailgate local drivers which happened regularly with the previous limit.
