Wargrave & Shiplake Regatta 2026

Hi everyone, i'm so behind on promotion this year but please do put Wargrave & Shiplake Regatta & Swim in your diaries - 7th and 8th August. Saturday 8th sees the swim at 6am, and then the Scratch Dongola registration opens at 10am, with racing starting after lunch.

If you've never competed, the Scratch is brilliant fun and the regatta provides everything. Dongoling is like dragon boating, but in a punt. 6 people, min 2 women. The racing is fast and furious, run in heats with the final later on Saturday afternoon. Do come and give it a go!

For spectators it's a lovely day out by the river watching an amazing display of traditional boating. The Regatta enclosure is at the end of Mill Road and has room for gazebos and picnics, plus there's a kid's play area, beer tent, food vendors and Regatta Shop.
