Footpath reopened
For the regular walkers amongst you, you might like to know the footpath along the river that had been closed at the end of Mill Lane is now open again.
The Council (OCC) and National Rail have repaired the sinkholes along that path that runs along the river (technically called footpath No.7) between the Thames tow path under the Shiplake/ Wargrave railway bridge, and emerging again just by Mill House. There's also another small path (No.36) that joins that path running at right angles to Mill Lane that is also open.
With the 2 new bridges installed in September along the towpath, the walk around the river loop and back to the old chapel is finally fully open and without hazards :-)
many thx
Roger.

Thanks for all your efforts with keeping the footpaths accessible, and for letting us know of the re-opening.
