Gladman threat

Gladman Developments have launched an attempt to get 245 houses built on the edge of Eye & Dunsden parish. The company are well-known for attempting to exploit weaknesses in the planning system, such as exists currently in South Oxon. Shiplake PC is one of a group that have joined together to oppose the scheme, which they see as potentially being the first of many in the area. Shiplake Parish Council's objection is posted on the SODC website, supporting our neighbouring parishes in opposing this application which will almost certainly have a negative impact on our local area...schools, transport infrastructure and other aspects of environmental harm.
