Just Received e-mail from S.O.D.C. 26/8 that Planning Committee is to be held 7th. September @ 6p.m. Didcot Civic Hall, BritwellRoad Didcott. The Planning Officer is recommending to the Planning Committee that permission is GRANTED.
This is typical tactics by Shiplake Farm to try to get through Planning Committee in August before Parish Council Meets in September. Howis Parish Council Responding?

Looking at the SODC website - most of the 'supporting' emails come from the same few roads in Henley - often houses next door to each other, with letters in the same format, same font, same spacing. It suggests to me that someone has simply walked house-to-house asking for signatures. It would be interesting to know what they said to get them?

The parish council is currently discussing the officer's recommendation and will be in contact with residents in the next 2-3 days once we have considered the details of the officer's report. We appreciate all the support given to date, more of which we will need as we seek to have the recommendation rejected at the meeting on 7th September.
