Legal Speed Limit on Station Road!

I walk or cycle to collect a newspaper from the village shop on most days and continue to be incredidbly disappointed that our 'responsible and considerate' villagers continue to completely ignore the legal speed limit od 20 MPH on statio road! The offenders are of all genders and ages!

The legal limit is 20MPH but less than 10% of drivers keep anywhere near this speed.

The road leads to the station and village ammenities only, so why break the law, putting other residents, patrticularly children and elderly at risk.?

Could agree more. It would also be good if some of the hedges spreading onto the pavement in Station Road were cut back, as walking with pushchairs, toddlers and dogs is rather dangerous if you need to step into the road.
