Broadband issues

Hello Shiplake residents. 

I wondered if anyone could help me with choosing the right broadband provider as currently with Sky but it is slow and disconnects a lot depending on how busy the village is from an online point of view. 

Has anyone descovered a reliable alternative at all? 

I rely on strong internet for my work so any suggestions would be massively helpful.

We (New Rd) have BT. We get a pretty reliable 50mbs. As far as i am aware Sky uses the BT infrastructure, some parts of which are probably overloaded eg the cabinet at the end of Nrthfield Av. AirBand is supposed to be coming to Lower Shiplake but this is not imminent. They have some cabling in place in Station Rd, Lashbrook and the top part of of New Rd. The earliest date we know about is Feb but any rollout will probably be localized and service may not be avaiable in some areas.
