Thames Farm Further Application

Residents should be aware that Taylor Wimpey has submitted a further application in respect of Thames Farm over the last 24 hours.

It can be found/viewed here P21/S4749/LDP. This is a 'technical' application that asks the LPA to confirm that the grouting and vibro compaction works that it proposes are lawful and are implicilty permitted under the terms of its existing outline planning permission.

This position is contrary to the previous advice provided by SODC in May, when SODC advised that a further full blown Planning Application would be needed by Taylor Wimpey for this work.

TFAG are reviewing the application and the advice notes provided by Taylor Wimpeys solicitor and barrister and we will provide advice to residents when we have heard back from our own Lawyers and advisors.

Joanne, here is the link to the TFAG documents and evidence page and the letter from SODC confirming the withdrawal https://www.shiplakevillages.com/page-content/documents/1635342815-Confirmation%20of%20Withdrawal%20of%20Planning%20Application%20P20%20S2808%20DIS%20letter_27102021123934247647.pdf

Just out of interest can you remind me when the previous application was withdrawn to avoid it aparently being refused by SODC?

Interestingly, the Planning Portal indicates the following timetable for this application. Date Received 9th November 2021 Registration Date 18th November 2021 Target Decision Date 13th January 2022 One wonders why it has taken until now for this application to be published on the website if it was submitted nearly a month ago.
