Thames Farm June 2021
Anyone have any further news on this development.
It appears that both the letters from TFAG to SODC CEO (March) and A Duffield (May) have not been responded to.

FYI: Taylor Wimpey have informed TFAG that 'they have submitted their drainage application to the local authority, it is in the process of being registered.' Once SODC publish the application details on their website, TFAG will assess the proposals for Thames Farm and advise residents accordingly.....and be prepared to respond.

2/2 ...and I suspect we will not get responses to our letters but where they know what we say is correct, and they are wrong then actions will be modified / taken to fall into line so long as TW do not challenge. The ball is now in TW's court, and I suspect we will not hear much whilst Taylor W consider their position and how much more time effort and resource they want to throw at this situation. As soon as we know something definitive we will let folk know. Peter @ TFAG

Stephen, I think SODC are fundamentally quite scared of being seen to do anything that might open themselves up to a legal challenge from Taylor Wimpey over how they are handling the matter. In particular they do not want to be seen to step outside of the guidance given to Councils for engaging with housing developers and getting schemes through the system quickly to beef up the housing supply. The letter of 7 May basically confirmed that SODC now accepted that a formal application is needed 1/2
