Burglary & Car Theft - ALERT

Last night, whilst we were asleep our house and garage were broken in to.  Cash & car keys stolen.  We were woken by the sound of our cars leaving the drive.  Exemplary performance by the Police both immediatedly after and follow up resulted in both cars being located. 

Whilst in these times of changing values, it would be inappropriate to make a connection, when the travellers visted Shiplake, a gentleman kindly offered to clean our drive which I declined.  At the time of the visit he would have seen one of the vehicles which is a higher value, high performance vehicle.  I noted his vehicle (a BMW X5) and registration and reported it to the Police given the unusual visit.

Advice?  Be vigilant and don't keep a dog who just wags his tail and gives you a lick!
