Travellers on Memorial Hall field.

Travellers are on the Memorial Hall field. The police are aware and due process to have them evicted is under way. It is hoped that they will leave tomorrow. Please take care not to block the entrance to the field that they are using (adjacent to the play area by the Exit) as this is against the law.

Parish Councillor Richard Curtis has informed me that the field is now clear. Shiplake College's support staff are clearing the site. Please note a deep clean of the site will be required before re-opening. Shiplake playgrounds remain closed. On behalf of the Parish Council I'd like to thank the College's team for all their help. It's much appreciated.
