Footpath etiquette

Just a gentle reminder that the first portion of the public footpath starting at the junction of Mill Road and New Road and going to the river is on private land and borders 3 properties. Public footpath users are very welcome but can I please politely request that dogs keep to the footpath and not our properties with any mess picked up and taken away? Your cooperation is very much appreciated!
