Cubs bake sale fundraise

A big thank you to Mark and Carol at the village shop for allowing the cubs to host a fundraising bake sale on Saturday.

An amazing £423.07 was raised- thanks to the generosity of all those who came down.

Pebble Hunt!

Have you seen these pebbles? The children at Shiplake Village Nursery have helped paint and hide these pebbles, plus others, in Harpsden Woods. If you find one, please post a picture on our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/shiplakevillagenursery/. We kindly ask that you leave the pebble where you find it so that others can join in the fun. They all have Shiplake Village Nursery written on the reverse.

A4155 Reading Road 4-way traffic lights starting Monday 21/10

BE AWARE: Construction works related to the Taylor Wimpey development at Thames Farm on the A4155 at the top of Station Road. There will be 4-way lights from Monday for approx. 5 days (hopefully shorter) at the Memorial, the works will then 'move up' using 2-way lights until they get close to the main site.

Allow for delays in accessing Lower Shiplake and travelling on the A4155 in both directions. The above notification is c/o  OCC Highways.
